If we had to arrange another function, we would only use Philip Small. In our meetings with him prior to the event he was sincere, realistic and, above all, honest. Philip advised us, always got back to us when we asked questions and never made us feel that we were a nuisance.
His performance as a caterer was equally as good. The Reception food was both plentiful and excellent. His choices are so varied and mouthwatering that one is spoilt for choice. Our guests commented that they could not have wanted for more in both quantity and quality - a rare combination. The drinks - alcoholic and otherwise - were imaginative and never ran dry.
Our dinner menu was just as satisfying. All courses were served at the right temperature - not easy when you have a crowded room and a variety of dishes to serve. The staff were efficient as well as charming and Philip who was out there, directing and leading - very much in evidence with out being obtrusive - ensured that there were no snags. Dear Philip, I know that the party has just finished but needed to say the following:- Thank you for arranging this wonderful party, everything was truly excellent, the food, your waiting staff, and your chef cooking to order and of course your personal presence.
